Chris Stambaugh, MPA

Instructor

Chris is the former president of the Professional Photographer's of Canada and has been a professional photographer for three decades. Chris holds the designations of "Master of Photographic Arts" and "Honorary Lifetime Member" by the PPOC. Chris has won numerous awards for his work including being a finalist for the Alberta and Canadian Portrait Photographer of the Year. Dan Nelson

Instructor

Dan grew up in Dewberry, Alberta. Dan's photography career started when he and his science teacher started a photography class when Dan was in grade 9. They taught darkroom techniques and processing to grades 7 and up. Dan continued doing this until he finished high school. He was also the yearbook photographer.

After finishing high school, Dan was a TV camera man for five years doing studio and on location news work. In the mid-nineties, he moved to Edmonton to be a color dark room technician, working in sales and printing professional photographer's competition work. Since then, and for the last twenty years, he has been working for Technicare Imaging, working with Photoshop and digital lab large format printers.

He is a self taught photographer and has been doing family portraiture, commercial photography and weddings for forty years. He joined the Profession Photographers of Canada in 1997 and received his Craftsman and Masters designations with accreditations in Image Manipulation and Fine Art. He has also judged image competitions for PPOC Alberta and Metro College.

He has expanded his knowledge experimenting with many different aspects of photography and has taken a special interest in Night Photography.

David Buzzeo

Instructor

Born in Newcastle upon Tyne England, David emigrated with his parents to Edmonton, Alberta Canada in 1952. David obtained a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Alberta in 1971. In 2007, after a 39-year career in the insurance industry, David turned his attention to photography as an art form. David has studied extensively at Edmonton’s Metro College. In January 2011, David obtained accreditation in the scenic category with the Professional Photographers of Canada.

Although 
David’s focus is landscape photography, he is also exploring photography as contemporary art. His goal is to create innovative and high impact images.

David is resident in Edmonton, Alberta and spends much of his time photographing in and around Jasper and Banff.


Greg Harvey

Instructor

Greg enjoys nature, photography and travel. He combines these passions to create wildlife images from around the world. Armed with a large format printer and a workshop, Greg prints and frames his own work. He leads photography groups to Southern France, Kenya and Alaska.
